Lumigan Information :

Uses :

Bimatoprost is used to treat glaucoma (open-angle type) and other eye diseases (such as ocular hypertension) that cause high intraocular pressure. Reduced intraocular pressure can aid in the prevention of blindness. In order to maintain a normal pressure inside the eye, this medication works by controlling the fluid flow within the eye.

Both adults and children can use Lumigan 0.03% Ophthalmic Solution to lower intraocular pressure. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other eye medications. To get the most benefit from this medication, use it as prescribed by your doctor and according to his or her instructions. Your vision may be harmed if you stop using it because of increased intraocular pressure. Before using a bottle for the first time, always make sure that the seal is intact. If you wear contact lenses, be sure to take them out and wait at least fifteen minutes before reapplying them.
